1.     Non-banking financial companies - Compliances and auditors' responsibilities

The importance of NBFCs cannot be undermined. However their utility comes with a caveat. Compliances by NBFCs under RBI Act have assumed paramount importance. Simultaneously, it is the need of the hour that we as auditors serve as the eyes and ears of RBI and report non-compliances directly to RBI.

To educate us on this area and to get a regulatory perspective, we have invited Mr. Prashant Kr Seth, DGM, DNBS, RBI.

2.     Importance of NBFC's under the new Companies Act 2013

With the advent of the new Companies Act 2013, do NBFCs have significant advantages? Whether these benefits outweigh the numerous compliances required under the new law.

3.     Changes in IT Act relevant to AY 2014-15 and e-filing of returns

With the tax filing due dates getting nearer with each passing day, it's time for us professionals to be aware of the income tax amendments applicable for the AY 2014-15 and also the changes made in various income tax returns. The e-filing process introduced in the earlier year also requires revision.
