Dear Member,
Online filing has seen a surge ever since the CPC was established in 2009 and faster processing has made this a major milestone in direct tax compliance. The 1.65 crore online returns filed last year is an 80% increase over the 91 lakh filed in 2010-11. It is also 50% of the total returns filed, which was 3.37 crore. While there have been hiccups along the way, the CPC is proactively working to further streamlined this process.
In this regard, your society has organized this following Lecture cum Interactive Session jointly with Western India Regional Council of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Chamber of Tax Consultants and Indian Merchants’ Chamber where the learned faculties will deal on the Issues & Challenges regards to E Filing at CPC.
