A Programme on Re-inventing Service Tax under Negative List

CORPORATE GURUKUL Presents A Programme on  Re-inventing Service Tax under Negative List Regime

About the Programme

Finance Act, 2012 has brought a paradigm shift in the way services will be taxed in future. As the legislators themselves define, it is Service Tax Version 2.0. Whether this shift from positive list to negative list augurs well to the trade and industry? Is this really a warm HUG as stated by the legislators or is it a tighter CHOKE? Only time will tell.  While the basic intention of the new regime effective from 01.07.2012 is to simplify things, but many questions still remain. Further in view of the withdrawal of many exemptions, it may be necessary to re-look at transaction structures and ensure adequate compliances.

This one day workshop is framed in the backdrop of the need for understanding the Service tax Law with the basic fundamentals and to ensure adequate compliances during such testing times.
