The Peer Review Board is organizing a one day training programme at Hotel Golden Parkk, 13, Ho Chi Minh Sarani, Kolkata-71 on September 3, 2014 from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm for members desirous of becoming Peer Reviewer. By becoming a part of the Institute's panel of reviewers, a member can conduct review assignments in terms of the "Statement on Peer Review". However a member needs to satisfy the following conditions to become a peer reviewer:-
* Possess at least 10 years experience of audit and also be currently active in the practice.
* Attend one-day training programme for Peer Reviewers conducted by the Peer Review Board.
The members already empanelled as Peer Reviewers and have attended training programme, conducted by the Board prior to December 2011, are also encouraged to attend the training programme afresh due to changes in Technical, Professional and Ethical standards and revised scope and process of Peer Review.
It has been the endeavor of the Board to rope in eminent speakers to make the training event enjoyable and enlightening.
You may fill the enclosed empanelment form and send it to the ICAI Bhawan, 7, Anandilal Poddar Sarani (Russel Street), Kolkata – 700 071 , for your empanelment, along with a demand draft of Rs.1000/- for the programme in favour of "Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India," payable at New Delhi. You can also submit the empanelment form along with requisite fee at the venue, mentioned above.
You are requested to intimate your participation at the earliest as due to limited seats, the participation will be confirmed on the basis of "First Come, First Served".
