As you are aware, the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board of the ICAI has taken a number of proactive measures to create awareness among the members about the new / revised auditing standards issued during the past few years like conducting of awareness programs on auditing standards across the country. The Board has organized a number of awareness programs on auditing standards at various places recently including Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Pune, Ernakulam.
I am pleased to inform you that the Board is organising One Day Seminar on Auditing on 14th July 2012 at Guwahati Branch of EIRC of ICAI. The Seminar will cover important topics such as:
a. Common Non-compliances with Law / Regulations and Reporting Requirement.
b. New Audit Reporting Standards.
c. Audit Documentation and Risk Assessment & Fraud Risk Considerations.
d. Issues in Tax Audits.
