OVERVIEW
IP awareness is relatively less in SME’s engaged in Electronics, IT & other manufacturing sector of India. A lot more understanding and exploration is required to cope with the changing nature of law pertaining to IP. Indian SMEs are doing in-house innovation of Software and IT tools to become competitive globally. In the absence adequate awareness on various forms of protection available to secure their innovations they are not able to fully exploit their innovations and in the process lose financially. This conference aims to create awareness among entrepreneurs and professionals engaged in Electronics, IT & Engineering sector about Intellectual Property Rights. It also attempts to discuss the various issues, typically encountered by these entrepreneurs and respond in Question-Answer sessions.
